About Tile International

Tile International or TeBe, founded and headquartered in Almelo since 1962, is a leading player in wall and floor tiles for in- and outdoor applications, bathrooms, kitchens and ancillary materials. Tile, kitchen & bathroom specialists across the entire country are part of its strong and ever-increasing customer base. With some 60 FTE, today TeBe services over 600 recurring customers each year.

The company is horizontally integrated with next to having the (often) exclusive import rights from leading manufacturers from Southern-Europe and acting as a wholesale distributor in the Netherlands, also having an in-house tiling business as well as a modern showroom (5,000m2) catering to both B2B and B2C customers of tiles, kitchens and bathrooms.

Tile International executes an active buy-and-build strategy with the aim to become the West European leader in the B2B tile market. New acquisitions can benefit from Tile’s platform organisation and strong purchase channels which lead to significant synergy potential. Since NewPort’s entry in 2021 Claesssen Stone + Garden and CottoceramiX have been added to the group. The former company is focused on outdoor tiles and corresponding products whereas the latter is specialised in niche tiles with a primary focus on the architectural and design market.
